Το πρώτο αφορά το δελτίο τύπου που εξέδωσε ο Δήμαρχος Λαυρεωτικής αμέσως μετά και τη δεύτερη υπέρ του Δήμου Απόφαση του Ειρηνοδικείου, ενώ η δεύτερη αφορά το κοινό Δελτίο Τύπου των πέντε Δημάρχων Μεσογείων και Λαυρεωτικής για την κινητοποίηση της 13 Μαρτίου στη Λεωφόρο Μαρκοπούλου.

SUBJECT: Vindication again for the City of Lavreotiki
Today the first (1st) March 2011 the County Court of Lavrion once again vindicated the citizens of Keratea. It adopted the decision number 30/2011, under which it dismissed the application for suspension of execution, which was filed by the Greek government against the 199/2010 decision of the same Court.
Hence the decision vindicates the residents of Keratea and prohibits the execution of works on the site Ovriokastro. We hope that the state will work in favor of the civil law and its citizens and will not impose finite decisions.
Residents of Keratea and the region of Lavreotiki are fighting for their dignity, their lives and the conservation of the historical memory of the region.
We are proud of our region and we demand respect and justice from the Government. We request substantive dialogue and not a pretext, provided that the State will completely withdraw its forces of repression as well as all the contractors equipment and will change the Regional Planning to keep the ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE of OVRIOKASTRO a land of culture and not rubbish!

RE: Protest March against the construction of the Keratea Waste Dump (XYTA).
This is an invitation to take Action.
The Markopoulo Municipality is supporting the fair and just fight of the residents of Keratea, in agreement and cooperation with the Municipalities of Saronika, Koropi, Peania-Glyka Nera, and Lavrio. We are jointly arranging a protest rally in Lavriou Avenue, at the entrance of the town of Markopoulo on:
Sunday 13 March at 11am.
We invite all residents of the Mesogea region to join us in solidarity to support the residents of Keratea in their just fight against the construction of the Waste Dump (XYTA)
It is our obligation to protest for everything that hurts us. The effects this construction will have in the southeaster part of Attiki, the negative stance of the State that constantly degrades the quality of life in our area (quarries, airport, waste dumps) and the unprecedented attempts to continuously downgrade the issue from some parts of the print and broadcast media.
